At an intimate service, family and close friends gathered in remembrance of their loved one, Ken. The 23rd Psalm was read, lending comfort to their loss. Sons and grandsons proudly stood as pallbearers for a man known as a good man, a kind and loving man. Family was the most important thing in Ken’s life. He was honorable and honest, a great friend to all who knew him.
At the gravesite, which was adorned by the red poppy in in honor of Ken’s war service and symbolizing death, renewal and life, family and friends gathered and reflected on the many sentimental memories.
Ken will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His love for his family remains in their hearts and in the legacy he leaves behind.
Son’s advice during this difficult time -
Do want you need to do to ease the pain.
Why CQ Cards?
CQ cards has done our Christmas cards and the response to our Christmas cards has been excellent. We wanted to say thank you to the people who attended the funeral or made a donation, in a unique way. We wanted to use the photos of Ken to be part of the thank you process and to send them as one last reminder of him. Many people who received the cards commented on how nice they were and some have ordered them for their family remembrance cards.
